Scrip Advantage

We are also having problems with Scrip Advantage. They charged our account, never shipped the scrip, never responded to multiple emails, and don't answer their phone. I filed a complaint with www.bbb.org. I also filed a report with the Fresno police department. I encourage others to do so. Perhaps if they are flooded with calls, they will investigate sooner: (559)621-2000. You will need to have Scrip Advantage's contact info handy. Might also be worthwhile to contact more news stations. I'd say this is quite a story.

I have called and e-mailed Scrip Advantage numerous times, including leaving messages for supervisors and have had no response. I just e-mailed yesterday, demanding our money back for all backorders (since September). I did notice on their website that I have only been charged for what has been shipped. I will be checking our scrip checking account to see if they have taken out the full amount for each order. As of today, we have over $10,000.00 in back orders. We are a small, private school and our parents are getting very discouraged. We are considering contacting Great Lakes Scrip....

ScripAdvantage owes us $6,000. You can't even talk to anyone anymore there, just a message machine saying you can still purchase scrip. Yeah, right! I switched to glscrip.com in September (backorders they owe me for are July, August, and September). What a joy to work with, no backorders, just received $8,000 order with no backorders. I'm getting the feeling ScripAdvantage is going under and the money will be lost. Stay away from them with new orders (although most of there items are not even available when you try to place an order.) So far GLScrip has been great... but then again, so was ScripAdvantage before July (well for the most part anyways.)

Please report your problems with Scrip Advantage to the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org and the Ripoff Report at www.ripoffreport.com ( I put it under category Services-Club Stores becasue I couldn't find a good category.) We have to let everybody know what is happening to us to get something done about it!

I spoke with the attorney general of Fresno today who is starting an investigation into this company. I did get in contact with a customer service rep on Friday after waiting 45 minutes on hold. I cancelled my remaining order of approximately $3,000 and am keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get my refund within the 5 to 7 business days promised. This company disgusts me. Either they are dishonest or totally and utterly inept at managing. The very least they could do is keep people informed. Small schools who primarily use this program are the ones least able to afford losses. Also check out this website: kron.com/Global/story.asp?s=4054043. It talks about some other schools that have had problems with Scrip Advantage.

Oh, and we have now switched to Great Lakes and had great results so far, but I can't seem to rally involvement because parents are so leary of backorders now. GL has done a great job so far.
