Tj

Could you email me the name of your company that you bought your bracelets from. I am in illinois and I tell you some of these companies are not what they say they are. If you had good luck then I would like to contact them and see about ordering some. Thank you.

We were about the same with our fall catalog fund raiser. Considering we lost the 6th graders because of restructuring, I don't think that we did too badly.

Our spring fundraiser was a complete DOG! Our (then) co-prez brought one of his friends who makes candles in to pitch a fundraiser. We liked the product, and decided to go with him. The only thing he provided us with was an excel spreadsheet type of orderform with the scents listed at the top. No color brochures, no description of the candles...nothing that would sell the product. Needless to say, people weren't too willing to purchase candles that they couldn't see and smell before buying.

This year we send home a parent survey asking them what they wanted to sell the next year. We all know that the parents are really the ones who do the selling, so we thought if we sold what the parents liked, we would have better participation. We listed some of the things that PTO pays for on the front so the parents could see where the monies raised are spent. Then, we listed some of the fundraising ideas that we had come up with on the back, and left them room to write in their suggestions.

Thanks. I did a search on-line and there are quite a few companies that sell them. I'd rather go with one I know is competent. It's great that we can share that kind of info with one another in this forum. How much did you sell them for?

We ordered them from a local company in Michigan. I'd have to talk to the girl that ordered them to get the name. They are the real things not the cheapy ones I've seen around. I know we paid a little over 1000.00 for 1000 with a 75.00 set up fee.

I think we have about 250 left and received them in April. So not to bad. We've made our money back already.
