I say this to you as a wife of a store manager...that still is not the kind of reaction you deserved or needed in a time of crisis. Please do make sure you and the VP thank the corporate office for their attention in this matter and your contunted dissatisfaction with the sales rep and her husband. No matter what she thinks YOU are still the one that is writing her pay check...or maybe after this NOT!

I don't mean to be the downer on your success but just don't forget to be honest with the company, they need to know how they are being represented to the public.

Now! Congrats and go sell!!!!!!

WOW! That was FAST! Somehow I get the impression that the President (and Head Elf, according to the website) must be an early riser!

I am so pleased that you were able to get things back on track so quickly. I wish that your rep didn't have to get a shoeprint on her behind to get it done, but these things do happen.

Now that you have what you need (and their attention if you don't), you can get back to enjoying the event for which you volunteered!!

Have Fun!!

You are currently IN the middle of the shop? If this is the case, get with your VP first thing in the AM and (together) call (not email) the corporate office ASAP.

Ask to speak to a manager or supervisor (Don Fisher is the Founder and President), don't even try to resolve the issue with the phone person, they don't have the ability to resolve your issue. Explain the awful situation you are in and request some immediate assistance to resolve the issue.

At this point, You should probably request an immediate shipment of items that YOU feel are necessary (including ALL shorted and missing items), and you should go into great detail about the treatment you received from your rep, as well as her husband; I tracked down their website, and he represents the company as well (orlando/tampa only, thank goodness!), and his treatment of you and your school is inexcusable and unforgivable.

If you feel it necessary, ask the manager/supervisor why, based upon your situation, he or she thinks your school should be doing business with them in the future, and what they are going to do to improve an already impossible situation (I would expect some sort of compensation from the corporate office as a token of their concern).

For what the "santa shop" companies charge for their products, their products and customer service should be the best in the wholesale trade. Any deviation like the one you are experiencing should be dealt with immediately while you are still able to rectify the situation.

Here is the address and phone # I found at the www.kidskornerUSA corporate website:

KIDS' KORNER GIFT SHOPPES®, Inc.
Address: 2705 185th Ave. East
Sumner, WA 98390
email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Phone: (253) 826-0015 (--TRY THIS ONE FIRST--)
Founder and President - Don Fisher
Toll Free: 1-800-KIDS-NOW
Fax: (253) 891-4112

Have ready to fax your inventory lists/need list/missing item list at the end of the call.

Please email me if you need more assistance; I'm the person my PTA calls when someone gets poor service from a contracted company. (We were considering using a particular company for our santa shop and decided against them when the rep started screaming at me because we had second thoughts and decided to do it ourselves.)

HOW FRUSTRATING!!!!! The vice-principal has said she will take care of it. Pass along the e-mail address to the VP. (You don't want to interfere with the VP's handling of the situation.) When you give her the address, ask the VP if she would like you write a letter to the corporate office.
