List your fundraisers!

We are a small school (about 250) - our K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades are all at separate campuses so we all have to do separate fundraisers. All of the K-3 grades have a Family Fun Night where we sale chilli dog plates, have games and activities and raffles. These are relatively small, but are fun for the kids. This year, the 1st grade campus did a Pizza Hut coupon card fundraiser and we raised over $10,000, the BIGGEST and EASIEST fundraiser thus far! No meetings, no pages and pages of volunteers and relatively no inventory, except for the little cards. We've also done backpack names at www.fundraisingpens.com. This was a profitable fundraiser too, but more work. We've also done candy sales and candle sales. If you would like more info on the coupon cards, please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

One of our new fundraisers is our custom designed magnets! We had our art department come up with a design and will print it on a custom magnet - car magnet with our mascot and school name. We will sell these at our school home games and to parents at our school functions. The magnets cost about $1.00 to print (using Vistaprint.com) and we will charge $4 dollars each making a $3.00 profit on each. Our middle school age students will purchase them for their lockers and the parents will purchase them for each car. It won't make a ton of money, but it will supplement for some specific school project ideas.

Fishin...

Check with your local Wendy's and see if they do a fundraising night. We always have a great turnout because their menu has something for everyone and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. We earn 10% on all sales between the hours of 5pm and 8pm on our designated night...including drive thru and carry out.

Cold Stone Ice Cream Social--our cold stone allowed us to pick one night a week Tues, Wed or Thurs to have a social from 5pm - 8pm. We will receive 10% of all sales made during that time. The teacher will be behind the counter either serving or ringing up the orders. The owner will also provide us a gift basket to raffle and we get all proceeds from the raffle. The other option is to pre-sale ice cream cakes and your customer will receive a gift certificate (no expiration date) whenever they redeem it your school will receive $3 per cake and they will automatically send you a check at the end of the month.
