The forest is a great idea. Our gym teacher has a tree trimming business and has already said he'll save limbs for me for decorations.

how about a dark forest? they make battery operated bats that fly in a circle on the ceiling for about 3 dollars. maybe trees that shake? glow eyes? a strobe light for lightening and some thunder sounds? old trunks that bang their lids? moss hanging from the ceiling? maybe a mound of dirt with old rubber boot, a bucket and a shovel?hope this helps.

Maybe do something with the cobwebs. Have a cobweb (spiderweb)room.

We can't officially do anything that says Halloween. Even though we have Halloween class parties. So the principal wants it to be a fun house. I think we can sneak a couple spooky things in. But we aren't allowed to have masks or weapons in the school.

I like the idea of a laser dance room for the more timid. My 6 year old didn't even like the pirate idea. I think the older kids will want to go through multiple times if it is at least startling.

Part of the reason I sold this was because there isn't anything quite like it around here. There are lots of private parties, the mall has trick or treating (too packed to enjoy), the haunted houses are too scary for me much less the kids and there is almost no trick or treating. Yet everyone decorates like it's Christmas.

It would be nice to get a few more Halloweenish things in. I don't think that is uncommon for fun houses. I guess I could give them the ideas and see which ones fly. What are some good not too scary or hard haunted house ideas?

how would you do a laser room? do you just put in strobe lights or do you use all different kinds of lights(wal-mart has really cool ones cheap) and how long do they stay in the room? i think i would like to do this with the haunted house that i do on one side of the gym and move bingo somewhere else and use that room.

Our haunted house makes a fortune. Partly because the price was upped due to content. And for patrons who may be spooked easy we have the Laser Room. It is VERY popular. It is all strobe lights etc. (like you mentioned) and they dance to music for a set time. They LOVE it!
