Alternative fundraising ideas

Last year, Shake's sent out free cone coupons to all the grade schools. CiCi's also gave out coupons for a free buffet with a paying adult.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

We still do Cougar bars. Nola retired, so we have someone new who looks very willing to help us out. I hadn't considered that as a prize. Thanks!
I don't think we have a Stone Cold Creamery in our town. I think there is one 20 miles away. I will definetely look into that! We have several frozen custard places in town. I will add them to our list of possible donations.

Do you have Cold Stone Creamery by you? I was able to get 600 gift certificates for a free cone to use as prizes for PARP last year.

Lisa, does Chase still sell ice cream or cougar bars? A coupon for a free one would be a great prize the PTO used to get them cheaper then they were sold for when they gave them away as prizes. Or maybe McD's will give you free cones, or candy bars bought at Sam's might work.

Lisa, you could do this for advisor base or have 3 jars and the three grade against each other. Or even add one for the teachers against the 3 grades.

Closetwriter Do you offer prizes for the class who does the most?

Will this work for middle school?
