Input on a few fundraising companies...

Well, it seems Masterpiece doesn't offer services in our state - but I am going to see if Corbi's will bring samples to our meeting. The other company - Classic Cookie - has already brought some, and they were quite good. So we'll see.

Thanks again for the help!

We used Corbi's last year and are going with them again this year. We loved them.... easy to deal with, they moved up delivery dates for us, brought us samples for our PTA meeting. They are very good to work with.

We are going with a new catalog vendor this year. It is called JAXCO ( www.4jaxco.com )> We love their catalogs, you sell out of two different catalogs for more items. They have NASCAR items, college team items (which are BIG here in NC), Harley items and from what we have seen , real good quality items. They sent us a display of various items to use at Open house and back to school nights. You use them and then you can send them back at their expense or purchase them and use them for however you want. You get to keep the wrapping paper though. One of the main reasons we went with them was because instead of having an inflatable jump house/things, they put on a 45 minute professional BMX bike stunt show for the kids. Our kids can not wait for this. They are so excited for something different and the top seller gets to choose a teacher and the principal, then the stunt guys/girls will jump over them without a ramp. The kids eyes about popped out of their heads when they heard this. They can't wait to see it. We started with about 30 overage pieces and sent out a staff email and they were all gone within 48 hours. We also sold/delivered in time for Christmas and this made a huge difference.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Thanks for all the input! I'll have to check out those others.

We did use Otis Spunkmeyer a few years ago. The only problem was with having to sell the overages ourselves. They did not allow us to buy only what we sold - we had to purchase full cases. However, their cookies are really good.
