On behalf of the Geckler family, the Geckler employees, and the Geckler sales reps; we want to thank you for your past business, your loyalty, and your friendship. Unfortunately; after almost thirty years of working to help schools and other non-profit groups raise money, the company is being forced to close it's doors.
Thankfully, we are through the busy fall fundraising season. Sales went well and we were able to provide our customers with the quality of service that we are known for and that our fund raising customers have come to expect.

We ARE sorry for you, but because we paid geckler over $20,000 we think it is not fair to accuse others
of me, me, me. It is difficult to understand how on one hand you say all contracts will be honored and
then you elude to "let alone buy groceries" We are still owed a party, a refund and our rep has not
been paid. How can you take care of all this when you probably can't even get in the building? Our rep
has asked us to share the letter with him as soon as we get it. He has not heard anything from geckler
about a letter or what it says. Our rep does a great job for us and says he will take care of us one way
or the other. We just want to wrap this up and move on. Good Luck!
It did just go down then...things were trying to get figured out. So I do know what I am talking about. The bank froze things on the 8th, that part of your statement is true. If you have everything you own frozen, how would you be able to pay anyone?? Let alone buy groceries. Gecklers are trying to figure things out day by day and did not obviously plan on any of this. Who would wish this on anyone?? It is difficult to understand if you don't know alot about it, it is not so cut and dry. The whole Geckler Family are wonderful people and take the good in all people. If your sales rep has something he needs to discuss, I am sure a Geckler would talk with him. It's a shame they are such nice people that are in a sad place right now. It would be nice if people in general could stop and think for a second about the loss the Gecklers are facing and have compassion in their heart instead of me me me all the time. Yes, our school principal received the news. Disappointingly, he didn't even hear it from our fundraising rep. We are now left scrambling because they were signed up as our fall 2010 fundraiser, as well as the promise of a spring carnival this school year.
