Did Geckler work alongside or with any other fundraising companies? In other words, will their closing affect any other fundraising companies in a negative way?
This is no surprise to Geckler. I have been pursuing the company legally since December to get my $13,000 for product I provided. I was willing to take the product back, but was told it was already sold. So they got paid for it but did not pay me.
Not only were Geckler's customers cheated, but realize many companies who provided products to Geckler were cheated as well.
My rep contacted me today and apparently the reps were not notified. She learned of the closure when her paycheck bounced!
Fortunately we were not contracted for a sale until the fall 2010 and our rep is already busy finding us a new company to honor the contract!

Sales reps know how to get ahold of him and nothing is a sercet from them. As far as what you are still owed please discuss with Dick, the owner. If we have a party already booked it will be taken care of. Every sales rep has their own contract, so not knowing who your sales rep it would be hard to say what the exact circumstances, but I do know that Dick has made contact with all the reps. If they have questions for him they should be directed towards him. I am sorry for what has happened and hope you can get things figured out.
