I've talked to her about it. Next year we are planning on being there. I've stepped down from the Exec Board and next year, she and I are running the behind the scenes stuff.
Minneapolis would be a stretch BUT the two of us away from home, get a motel room for the night, no kids, no husbands, it sure is nice to think about!!
I wasn't able to make it to Chicago after all, but am registered for the Back-to-School Kick Off Box Tops University in Minneapolis at the GM World Headquarters on June 8th. It is being advertised as bigger than all the others combined with more freebies, drawings and such. It will be from 9 AM - 2:30 PM.The morning is basically a seminar, then lunch, with vendors in the afternoon.
I have heard that some of the new BT products in Huggies & Kotex. Talk about diversifying!!
Again, only BT Coordinators get this info, so if you are interested in going talk to your Coordinator to see if he or she is going. I think 2 people can go from 1 school.
I checked and registration is full. Going to have to shoot for that one next year. The BT Book Club sounds interesting. If you get more information, please share.
I'm going to have to check in with our coordinator and see if she is up to date on everything. She's usually very good but seems to be a little overtaxed right now.
The BT University near Chicago is on April 13th at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville in Lisle, Illinois. It is from 9AM to Noon. Here is an exerpt from the Email confirmation I received:
"We are looking forward to a fun and interesting 1/2 day of learning, sharing and prizes, which will provide you with tons of inspiration to maximize your school's earnings through the Box Tops for Education program!"
While it is a 3 hour drive for me, my PTO may spring for the gas and I am hoping to learn more about the BT Book Club.

I went to the University last year in Boston and had a fun time. There are door prizes and give aways to keep your attention. It is not a long event so you might want to consider that before you drive a long time. Also, they talked about the Web and some new products that might include box tops. You can also meet other Box Top junkies! I am planning on attending again this year, I think 2 years ago they gave alot of really cool stuff away and they did double points for attending. (I think I cannot remember). Last year was not as busy/exciting as the previous one. Personally, I would not drive more than 45 min to go but that is just my opinion. You can get all the info from the Message Boards on Box Tops. Every one is friendly and chats alot there.
