We can not sale items during certain hours however we can give away foods if it is done somewhere besides the cafeteria such as outside the library in the hall or in the teachers lounge.
Shawns idea is wonderful - good luck with it!

Promote as "Celebrity Dads" (no actually Hollywood people) reading morning. Make "US or People magazine covers of the dads willing to read" then get dads to come a read a few stories in the morning or a "Dad volunteer day" where they come in take over staff posotions throughout the day.

I'm gonna try it for our Fall Back to School Book Fair.

Hello all,

I am a first time poster and I need some ideas. The past couple of years we have had a Donuts with Dad event at our Book Fairs. (We have one in the Fall and one in the Spring). Our problem is that we can no longer serve food when the school cafeteria does. (They serve breakfast). Well last time we scheduled the event a half hour early, but with all of the visiting and purchasing of books, the time ran over into cafeteria breakfast time.

Our problem is that this is our biggest sales time of the entire week of book fair. It even does a lot better than our family night program held during the fair.

Does anyone have any ideas for a "Dad and Me" event we could do for one morning during our book fair?

Thanks:)
