In the past our school has done very little to make Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week exciting. As the new PTO president, I want to make it a whole week of exciting activities.

I want to have a different theme for every day. Something that we can tie in daily activities, teacher gifts and a special lunch. One idea that I have is "Hat's off to our teachers because they are "Souper". On this day, the students could wear silly hats and the teachers would be treated to a soup and salad luncheon.

I also want to have prize drawing but I want them to include some type of activity for the teachers. I thought about asking each teacher for a baby picture and do a "Name that teacher" contest.
