Our Exec Board has 6 available parent offices and 6 available staff offices. A staff member may hold a parental position if they are a parent and the staff positions are filled.

We do not have a teacher on our executive board, but we do have two teachers each year who serve as a teacher liaison to the board. They take turns coming to meetings and then report back to the rest of the teachers. They also give us teacher input at meetings. Each year the two teacher liaisons switch so that they all take turns. We have yet to have a problem. The teachers always work it out amongst themsleves as to who the liaisons will be.
Our PTO bylaws require one teacher to sit on our Ex. brd. (we are meeting tonight to review/change bylaws) this one won't change. our problem is none of our teachers want to sit on our board. Does a teacher sit on any of your Ex. brds? or has anyone eles run into this problem? thanks for any info.
