Our newly formed PTO is having trouble getting parents involved, and the board members would like to have it written in our bylaws that many people could be members. Example, 'all parents, teacher, retired teachers, and approved community members are automatically members of this pto'. This isn't something we are finding in many PTO bylaws. Could anyone give their input on this, good or bad? We would really appreciate it!!
