Can officer(s) be removed from their position by the public?

If you don't have a code of conduct clause in your bylaws, then you have to wait to vote them out. Following the rules of election, you would have to get enough eligible voters to vote for another candidate. (Making sure that there is another candidate running against that person). To publicly speak out against this person in a large group could be seen as a negative. speaking to other concerned parents with facts--not rumors on the issues could be seen more of campaigning for the other candidate. However, it is the how the parents perceive your actions & words that will determine whether they will vote or against this person you refer to.

Well, in order to get someone removed they would have to be in violation of something in your bylaws. You should start by getting a copy of your bylaws and reading them.

I was wondering if anyone might know weather or not parents can publicly push to have an officer removed from their seat. We have actively sought different avenues to discuss the issues and can not seem to get a resolution to the problems at hand. We currently officer behavior that is unprofessional, and unethical.

Steps have been taken to ensure that pretty much no one can against them. So how can we stop their re-election? Can this be done or could the organization be disbanded?
