I have a question for anyone out there who received the donation package from Wheel of Fortune and used it as an auction item - what value did you put on it? I am stumped as to what to use, and any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I would start your auction as soon as possible. If you start after the new year, you're cutting it close.

Our school carnival & auction is in March. Would you suggest waiting until after the first of the year to request donations or should I start now? Was thinking that some companies might reset there donating amounts on 01/01.

Does anyone have any experience in getting a travel tour company donating to an auction? I'm looking for a San Francisco based travel tour company that will donate a day trip to Yosemite or other areas.
