rec'd on saturday the 2011 american girl doll and book for our auction in december, so excited.

Also was wondering about disney for those of you who did on-line application, still trying to find out about 501(c) 3 information - I could not scan mine in so I left it blank and was wondering if anyone else did the same and still rec;d tickets or did they get contacted and then have to mail or email copy of form to them before getting approval.

The link for the disney donations is

www.wdwpublicaffairs.com/HTMLContent.asp...ba-85ef-97d7a2af955e

If, for some reason, that link doesn't work for you just google "disney donation request" and it should be the first response you get.

I've stumbled across quite a few interesting donation ideas by googling different companies followed by "donation request" ; some of them follow my train of thought. I.E. I sent the airtran request, and I had sent a ton of hotel requests so I thought "what about new luggage for a trip?" Ha! Worth a shot...

Hi everyone - I want to thank you all for the great information, now's my chance to give back a bit. We're located on Cape Cod, MA so anyone in the area, here's what we were able to get for last year's Calendar Raffle:

American Girl doll
Disney tickets
Keurig machine & coffee
Stop & Shop gift cards
CVS gift card

Locally, we also got

2 pairs of tickets on Cape Air
a picnic table from a local company (value $250)
local photographer donation
local hair stylist g.c.
Cape Railroad tickets
a few local restaurants and shops.

Those ideas might help anyone looking for different ideas in their own areas.

For this year (October 2011) so far I've requested:

6 different hotels in Boston
Blue Man group in Boston
Pearl Paradise (just opened up again)
Keurig machine again (got email already that we will will receive)
AirTran

Samsonite luggage
Wachusett Mountain ski area
