Hello everyone! I am SOOO busy and so tired, I really needed to pop in for a while, can I get a club soda??
I've been running the membership drive, still Council President and helped count fundraising money today. Another affirmation that I HATE catelog sales and LOVE pure cash-a-thons. I was ready to rip my hair out with the whole coordinating orders for the catelog....
Then I'm running back to the school to hang up nuts for the membership drive and I also (glutten for punishment and not trying to be a martyr but...) also instituted the National parent/student Mock Election at the school and since it was my idea, am running it.

I talked to my parents last night and all Dad could talk about was how cold it's going to be this winter. Then he asked if I was coming home for Christmas! Not if it's below zero!! Not gonna do that again! I'll stay in Denver...maybe they would come here and warm up!
OOO shrooms with blue cheese, that'll work! That reminds me, I need to get this pot of veggie soup (or as my 6 yr old calls it veggie chillli) going! NOt to chilly here but sounds good and stretches the budget until next week's payday!
Oooh, breaded mushrooms! With blue cheese dressing I hope! I now know what I want for my birthday dinner tonight! Along with a tall, ice cold, Michelob! Can you tell my mind is not on my work today?!
I know it's early so I'll have an iced tea for now. Actually make it a hot tea, it's cold here today. Fall is in the air here in Iowa!
Anybody got any Tylenol? I'm getting a headache looking at my list of "to-dos" for the day! Guess I'd better take my tea and mushrooms to go and get busy.
May stop by later for that Michelob. By the way where are those tall ladies from the opening of this bar? I have a huge book fair sign to hang on the wall outside our school! Might have to use 5th graders, some of them are taller than me!
