way to go luvmykids!! i know that high speed stuff scares the you know what out me! i like the pits!!

our road runner is tor red (or hemi orange) with the flat black racing stripe down the hood. our oldest daughter's friends thinks the car is soo cool. of course she doesn't appreciate it yet.

i drove the car one time in an empty parking lot when we were dating and i did do some really nice donuts! (he bet i couldn't) i guess that's when he knew i was the one. ha ha i never told him but, that's when i figured out i couldn't handle the car. he never knew.

mykids- i think your pulling our leg!!! lol

Oh my gosh, I'm harkening back to my high school days and my '72 Ford Gran Torino with the 350 Cleveland. That car could move. I got in a race with a friend one time and got it up to 115. When I looked at the speedometer and realized how fast I was going, I chickened out and let off the accelerator. I was already way ahead of that Malibu so I don't think he would have beat me.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

m2 - you're cracking me up!

Oh no, I don't race that 'Cuda. It would probably kill me. I did race my '06 Dodge Charger Daytona (yeah, it's got a hemi) last summer. I ran low 14s in it. My husband said I could get it in the high 13s if I knew how to drive it!!!!! Whatever.... 100mph was enough for me. And no wheelstands either, thank you very much!

It's hysterical in my town the local high school colors are orange and black. And my car is orange and black. So I'm very popular with the high school crowd. Lots of them try to race me on the street but I always let them win.

mykidsmom - you said you didn't know anything about cars and look at you dropping terms like 'trany'. :D

i am amazed!! those are decals!! that is one nice ride!!! once a mopar family always a mopar family! do you drive the car? i'm kinda afraid to drive the road runner. i like to watch from the pits. i think i appreciate it more that way.

mykids i drive an '02 dodge caravan "we can't have anything but a mopar in the driveway!" we have a 70 roadrunner, 02 caravan, 98 dodge ram, any the "clunker" 89 plymouth acclaim. my last minivan was a 95 plymouth voyager, we sold it when it had 199,902 miles on it, not joking you, and it is still running today! i wanted to keep it just to see it turn 200,000 miles but the timing belt went on it. so bumbed out! i miss that van!! plus we never did a thing to it but normal maintence.
