Hey CC,

Be careful filling your pool up with your garden hose.

Girlfriend of mine was doing that (she was on a well, not city lines) and her pool guy made her stop ASAP. Apparently there is the possibility of burning up the well pump from such long and continious usage (who'da thunk?). So if your on a well, you might want to stop. My girlfriend ended up having to have the water delivered to her (don't think I didn't laugh for a LONG time over that one!).

So, if your on a well system - be careful. Check with your pool guy.

Oh, the germs that must be swarming around in those peanut bowls.... :eek: That's what the alchohol is for - to kill them!

Shawn, glad to see you were committed to teaching those interns a valuable lesson. Way to take one for the team! :D

The pool is finally getting filled with water. With one sad little garden hose hanging over the side I figure it'll take about a week to fill. My son's a polar bear though. He'll swim in it in October if he has too!

Pun was funny though - dont think any Dr (or even Medical Residents) can be Enlisted

1 stripe = Private
1 stripe with chevron = Private First Class
2 stripe = Corporal
3 stripe = Sergeant (ME)

1 Gold Bar = 2nd Lt
1 Silver bar = Lt
2 Silver bar = Captain (Mom, Little Bro)
Goldleaf = Major (Twin)
Silverleaf = Lt Col

Theres more but I think I remember the basics- we had more contact with Warrant Officers (Helicopter Pilots) and Enlisted (Ground Crews) than Officers (not many out in the field doing Grunt/Ranger work)

oops i showed my military ignorance on that one.

i thought gold leaf meant you were showing some sort of respect for the degree the doc had! see how wrong one can be, making any assumption.

life is tough, never make assumptions or you may get yourself in a pickle. get your facts straight first is always the best policy.
