Yeah for me!!! No Traffic School!!! The judge was being way to nice. I only had to pay a $25.00 fine and taxes. ( which totaled over $50.00 ). She didn't even put the points on my record - I've been good. My last ticket was over 12 years ago...did I really just say that? I am getting old.

We have a PTO meeting on Thursday night. I am so not in the mood for it. We had some massive budget cuts county wide and all the teachers are begging me for money that is already been allocated for new playground equip. What to do, what to do? I know, I'll just play virtual snow ball fighting in my head while they are begging. I wonder how many snowballs I can pack with me. hahaha

Making sugar cookies can be a great family event. My daughter helped me cut them out until she left for youth group and the boys put the frosting and decorations on the trees. Your hubby may just want to observe and sip his latte!

I think we'll make sugar cookies tonight. I try to pace hubby by putting red hots on the cookies. He hates them so it slows him down when he has to pick them off!

We don't even watch the music award shows for the very reason you stated. Not to mention the amount of skin some of those performers show! Then again you never know when you'll see too much skin...yesterday I took some stuff into the school office and as I was walking out got a view of a mom who had 3/4 of her very large breasts pushed up out of her extremely low cut top. I told my friend I wondered if the woman was unaware that the fashion is to wear a cami under those kind of tops. My friend wondered if the woman ever looks in the mirror before she leaves home.

CC, if you want any cookies you better hurry. Of the one dozen snickerdoodles and 2 dozen sugar cookies, there are 4 sugar cookies left! I've had one sugar cookie and one snickerdoodle! My husband finally admitted that he ate FIVE Christmas tree cookies yesterday(that was just his portion for that day). Can you say "Oink!" He ran out the door this morning with the last 2 snickerdoodles.

Oh yeah, that would be my sisters you're talking about. We're 44, 42, 41 (me) and 37 but sometimes (usually!) it seems like 14, 12, 75 (me) and 7. The three of them have decided that hard work, success, charity, kindness and happiness are sins and it's their job to punish me. Merry Christmas to me....

Luckily, I married into an amazing family at 17 and have had hugely positive role models my entire adult life. Not to mention a handful of women - including my mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law - who are true friends!

I found this quote on the internet and, wow, is it ever true!

Friends are God's apology for relations. ~Hugh Kingsmill

Hubby is not quite as recovered as he'd like to think - his body has been through a very traumatic experience - but he is feeling tons better. He asked me to run to the local coffee house for his first vanilla latte since before Thanksgiving - 20 ounce, quad shot, sugar free vanilla, skim milk latte. I told him he needs to pace himself!
