We never 'name' our carnival. We always pick a theme and then use a catchy phrase or two in all of our fliers. Last year we had a 'groovy' theme. So we would advertise the annual Menlo PTO Spring Carnival with a 'groovy' theme. We would also put on the fliers to 'Dress in your groovy best'. All of our notes home had groovy references.

Our school held a eXtremem Picnic for several years. The name was catchy and we could use X's in all our advertising.
