We had a fantastic movie night in October with over 500 in attendance. We had the Fire Dept cook up the hotdogs with their BBQ'r (6-8 volunteers), we had concession stand (8 volunteers), we had a raffle team (2 volunteers), we had 2 entry gates (4 volunteers) - as we charged $1 for this event. I had a team of approximately 5 + me on a subcommittee and each person was in charge of something, such as drinks, candy, hotdogs/buns, condiments, balloons, signs/promotion, etc. Each person also looked for sponsors, as well as others not on the committee. We had over $1000 in sponsors. Good luck! We are doing another family movie night at the end of the year in May!

Hi. We're also looking into a movie night for our school grades k-3rd.
We'd like to make it a free event, but will sell concessions and have a raffle. We have 650 kids at the school. Any tips on number of volunteers you used for your movie event or what type of sub-committees needed. I'm assuming we'll need a concessions team, movie contract/set up, promotions/raffle, clean up, etc... We'd love to learn from your experience! Thanks!
