We have a class king and queen for each room. They sell candy, pencils, little things at school. (mom's usually come after lunch at set up tables) Some raffle things, some have skating parties, magic shows, etc. Whatever the parents can think of and do. Some parents only sell things at their work.
The king and Queen who raises the most money wins. We try to give them 2 to 3 months to sell.
Last year we had candidates who made from $200 up to $3,000. It all depends on the families creativity and efforts.
We give trophies to every candidate, bigger ones to the top 3 and crowns to the winners.
