Misting system for cool down

16 years 11 months ago #134702 by northeastmom
My father in law hooked on up on our first house on the patio. They sell the systems at places like Lowes. I would think if you would use it quite a bit it would eb a great investment. It could be hooked up onto the building or maybe if it needs to be portable on some kind of 2x4 system if you have a handy person in your family or PTO!

We successfully used misters that were borrowed from a local greenhouse! We used zip-ties to attach the tubing to a frame from an Easy-Up tent and then the children walked through and around it. Inexpensive and effective.

Our school gets out mid June, so we really don't have that much of a need for this type of item. You would probably find a lot if you google "misting fans" on line or call the zoo and ask for their property maintenance department and see what brand they purchased.

Doing it for my one and only ~~ my son!

Can anyone recommend a system for keeping everyone cool during a hot summer day event? Our zoo has a misting type system which sparked the idea. The only things we can find are a waycool system and a misting fan, both of which are not going to work. Any ideas to cool 1000 people?

Thanks!
