I really love the Happy Feet theme... you can really get crazy with it. make flyers and posters (have kids decoration poster contest from each class) something like: Let's get our Happy Feet together and join us for our annual walkathon.

give out the movie as a prize. there's lots of items for this theme at walmart.

if you do "March of the Penquins" you can do "March of our ......mascot....school name"

ours would be "March of the Antelopes"....

You could do a play on Happy Feet the movie and do March into Reading

Our Field Day team is doing a fantastic job working with a pirate theme. All vounteers are pirate captains. Games such as digging for gold, walk the plank, etc. etc. I don't know any details but it sounds like you could work a lot of fun into it!

You could have the love of reading as a theme and have someone dressed up like Dr. Seuss. You could have a luau, mardi gras, or fiesta theme.

Our school holds an annual walkathon fundraiser and we need a fun theme for this year. Any ideas? We usually plan some games around the theme as well as our t-shirt design, decorations and maybe a mascot or someone dressed up. We don't have a school mascot and we are K-5th.
