Skit Night

Skit Night was created by Chris D.
One thing my school does is an annual Skit Night. We advertise it around the school and those students with a penchant for drama or comedy usually sign up with a skit (we must get a printed copy of it first so we know it's appropriate) they want to do, and they perform it on that night.

We also try to get as many teachers as possible to come out and do wacky, out-of-character things. This is also in part a fundraiser because we sell tickets (inexpensive, around $5 each), but it makes for a really great night.

Some of the teachers of younger grades (second, third grade, etc.) sometimes get their whole class together to sing a song or something - it's so cute!

A couple of kids memorized and performed "Who's on First," and brought the house down.

Two years ago this one senior (who pretty much never said a word to anyone) walked out onstage and blew us all away with an AMAZING rendition of the National Anthem. Everyone was SHOCKED, his parents included.

But, yes, just throwing that out there. What do you all think?
