What is a static display?

Another poster here tipped me onto egoodtimeattractions.com and I was mpressed with their prices, compared to OTC on the cheaper items anyway.

We do a lot of simple tossing games, have face painting, have blow ups. Then static displays, sand bracelets etc. If you email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. I'll send you are carnival file. Our prizes came from oriental trading...inexpensive to a bit more expensive for the higher the tickets go....d

Spring Carnival was created by <Shortiemarie>
Were pretty new at Community/Family events and were considering having a Spring Carnival. I have read many posting about prizes, tickets and things of that sort, but am wondering 2 things? What kind of prizes do you give out and where do you get them? Also what kinds of activities are the kids most interested in? We are a really small school, less than 100 students, but are considering opening the invitation to the community. Any suggestions?
