Dear Jan,
We wish to thank you and your department for your generous donation of a signed hockey stick and 4 football tickets to the XYZ SCHOOL Family Fun Day Fundraiser. Despite a rainy day, the children had a lot of fun, (and so did we!) and we are proud to say that we were able to raise $5,000 towards our goal of $40,000 for our playground project. Thanks to the support of so many donors like you, we had a very successful Silent Auction and look forward to making it an annual event. The signed hockey stick was the most popular item, raising $1,000 for us! Thank you as well to the 5 wonderful student athletes that came to help out. The kids always love to see Umaine athletes, and they were a big help to us.
As we begin a new school year, we continue to plan more fundraising events and hope to meet our goal in the coming year.
Thank you once again for your support. You have helped to make it possible for us to provide a safe and healthy play space for our students.
Does anyone have a thank you letter for donations that they would share with me? I'm not the best at writing up letters that don't go on and on and on and say anything important!
I'm sending thank you's to all of the community merchants that provided us with door prizes for our skating night and I'd to see how others have written this up.
