When we do doorprizes just for the kids - we have them put their names on the back of the ticket (that way if they lose their half - their name is on the other) and drop it in the bucket. Just make sure to have plenty of pens handy to help make things go faster.

Since you've all been so awesome in answering my other questions.. can you help with this one?

We're doing a "skate night" at the local roller rink for 5&6 grade. I'm thinking of having door prizes, with some nice items donated from local merchants for the volunteers. I'd like to do some smaller prizes for the kids, but here's my problem:

What's the best way to pick the winners of the door prize? The children most likely will be there on their own (most parents just drop them off) so if we did raffle tickets, I'd bet alot of kids would lose the ticket, and that would make me sad for their disappointment. Does anyone have a good way to do this sort of thing? I don't know if we should put names in a hat or what? Please help.. You all have such great ideas that I never think of!

Thank you!!!!
