I know that PTAs have this available to them but it is Lutheran produced and available to other groups.
we are having two seminars during the 2006/2007 year that focuses on building confidence among boys and peer pressure among girls. I am looking for speakers on these issues and also articles or other items for hand-outs. any ideas?
we are located in prince georges county maryland. we are a school of about 500 students. our school is predominantly african american. 50% of the population has been designated as talented and gifted and 50% of the population are regular students. Almost all of our parents are working parents and a large percentage of our parents are single parents.
looking for speakers to discuss how parents, particularly single parents (mostly moms) can raise confident boys, how parents can serve as a balance for peer pressure among girls (popularity contests, pre-adolescent issues, boys, etc)
