We are with a middle school and we are trying to get a Family Night together. Because of this same issue, we are looking at having the event on one of the nights where we already have extracurricular activities, so kids who cant be picked up can take the activities bus home.

We recently had a family night at our school and in the follow-up discussions the issue of families without transportation came up.

We want to make sure that all families who want to attend our events are able to so we're trying to figure out how to provide transportation.

Anyone had any experience with this?

I thought I would contact the school district and check into logistics and cost of a bus, and maybe send out some kind of survey to see just how many families would take advantage of transportation if it was offered.
