Sounds like the event your planning is similar to the one my school is planning. We are organizing a gift auction/dinner to be held at a banquet hall and would like to sell ~250 tickets. We are having our first fun fair on the 20th. We have been really busy collecting donations and have gotten some REAL cool ones. (I will post later on the ones we got). It started out as we were going to have just the silent auction but we have gotten some small certificates and some other things that I am not sure people would bid on but would try on a chinese auction. Has anyone else did both at the same time? If so how did it go? Any tips?? I am getting nervous about this whole thing. I don't want it to fail!!!
