Roller Skating party could work! Our kids love it and have a great time! Most are new fifth grraders and we offer door prizes (free drinks/cotton candy/skate rental/ etc)
We have a Family Fun Night at our 3-5 school. We hire a DJ and have cotton candy, popcorn and water on hand. We also have a temporary tatoo station and do some sort of giveaway. Tickets are $2 and help to cover costs. Everything that night is included in the cost of admission.
I agree that the kids are too young to go to this type of event alone. We require that children are accompanied by an adult.
In our district the kids go to a new school in 4th grade and we want to have some kind of a social in the past a dance was held but some parents are sure the kids are just too young for this. Any other social ideas for a mixer type thing in a new school. We do it in the spring for the kids while they are still in third grade!!I welcome any ideas PLEASE HELP!!
