Our schools are Title 1, so the coordinator does literacy and math nights. I'm looking into doing a science night for our intermediate (4th and 5th) not sure if we can get enough of the k-3rd parents interested. I've checked out some web sites and found useful ideas, I also thought about approaching the high school science teachers and getting their involvement and also their students to actually come in and run the experiments, etc.
I'm just curious...most of the Math/Science nights that I see schools having, are those put on by PTO/Parent Groups or the teachers/administration? Anyone know?
