What kind of prizes do you use for your carnivals and does any school have the kids play the games and win a coin or ticket and then turn in there coins or tickets for larger prizes and if so how do you do it. Thanks!

Almost forgot, someone emailed me for help finding the download on the Oriental Trading Company web site. Here it is in case others are having a hard time finding it too:

This is a 29 page booklet that spells everything out. It has an overview of what you need to do, ideas of games, how many prizes you need, explanations of volunteer needs and duties and worksheets to help keep track of everything.

They also have people you can contact to help with planning. I called the number 1-800-526-7400 and asked what they do. The operator said, "We hold people's hands who haven't done a carnival before." So there's extra help.

Sorry, OTC is Oriental Trading Company. I mention it so frequently, I should create a sig "Oriental-Trading-Company-aholic"
I have seen other carnival prize supply stores, but these guys have competitive prices and a HUGE selection. Also the customer service is great. If anything is missing or partial, they send replacements fast.

Almost forgot:
Balloon stampede - tie a balloon on a longish string onto each player's foot. They try to pop each other's balloons. Winner gets a prize. (Hint a shorter string makes it easier to pop)
Rubber band gun firing range
guess your weight/age
Give out buttons at the dunking booth that say "I dunked (name) and I feel great." when they dunk someone. The group I got this from said they had teachers rotate and people started a collection and kept coming back to dunk everyone. I like the idea of dunking them into balls. Sounds like more fun.
