Hi Stephenie,

Good Luck! Don't worry, everything will turn out just fine. This is our third year with our PET (Parent Encouragement Team) Team. We got presenters to speak to the parent goup, served dinner, and it turned out to be a good meeting. I use to worry so much about attendance, but now I don't. I just accept the good and faithful parents being there. Although, we are still working on getting more parents involved. Have a wonderful year with your group. It is so rewarding. Kita.

We are a brand new charter school in Tulsa, OK. The school is a converted church with about 325 students k-8.

I am at a loss to even know where to begin? There is no PTA, PTO, but we really need a playground and some sort of PTO. I am willing to organize and make the contact with Priciple, get the OK, and do facilitate the creation, but what's next??

I don't want to have a parent PTO meeting if I don't what I am doing...do we elect officers first? Write bylaws?
There is no bank acct set up, no money.....nothing

HELP!
