Toolkit question

Thank you for answering! I'm glad to know that the toolkit helped you through your filing. It seems by what you said that the forms are up to date. The site (free) I was using on the internet for PTO filing help was using a form that was pre-2005. According to what I was able to find out, the IRS made significant changes in 2005 - mostly to include different schedules that you used to have to attach to form 1023 - they're now a part of form 1023. Anyhow, I think we'll order! Thanks again!!

I used the toolkit when filling out my form in March/April of last year (2008). I don't recall it being out of date; isn't it Form 990 that was redesigned? And in any case, the basic questions will be the same.

I posted this elsewhere on the message boards but didn't receive a response. We really would like to purchase the toolkit but won't unless we're sure that it helps you fill out the most recent IRS form 1023. I know that you can get the guide by becoming a "plus" member but we are not ready to do that at this time. We would rather just buy the kit. Thanks to anyone who can help. Here's my original post:

I'm writing about the "Starting a PTO" toolkit. We're looking at purchasing it in order to help us complete our IRS form 1023.

We had a source online that we were getting our information from but the examples of forms they have appear to be old forms. Are the IRS 1023 instructions that are provided in the toolkit up-to-date (most recent year's forms?)

Thank you.
