go to Free Translation and Professional Translation Services from SDL . Type in a few sentences at a time and get it for free.

We're also hoping that our File Exchange will be agreat resource for this over time. We have a category for "Spanish tools."

If you do get a doc translated, I hope you'll upload that to the Exchange for others to use. That's what the Exchange is all about.

I would not recommend any free translators on the intenet, I am a fluent spanish speaker and any free translators on the internet do not translate the way we speak, you are better off getting a bilingual parent to help.

try the website babblefish or any other site that translates docs....then have a language-native do a once over for accuracy....may be easier than finding someone with the time to do a full translation and free of charge.......

Can't you ask that a memo be distributed to all parents asking for a volunteer to do that job. Without sending a memo, how are you going to find someone within your school to translate for you? There are services that will do that for you, but they will cost you each time you use them.
Otherwise, you will have to see if the High School has students that can assist you and volunteer their time. Maybe the teacher will give them extra credit for doing the work. My HS has a international honor society and they try to reach out to groups of that nationality and assist. This would be in line with what they could assist with in the community.

Doing it for my one and only ~~ my son!

I need help! I'm part of PTA and I have some information I want to send out to parents. Our school is required to have all documents in both English/Spanish. I asked the school to help me do the translation but was told no because PTA is their own organization and the staff has enough to translate from the school itself. So, if someone could please help me out I would be ever so greatful. Please send me a message if you are interested in helping me out.

THANK YOU!!!!
