Thank you EVPTO for asking this question. I just met with our principal and was asking if we could send a teacher survey out to find out what they would like to see continued or changed with the PTO. Thank you Bucksco for posting your survey. I may use something like yours.

We did a Teacher Survey 3 months ago and were pleased with the response as most teachers filled it out. We asked -
What do you like about what the PTO is doing for our school?
What would you like to change about what the PTO is doing? Please include your suggested additions or deletions of activities.
What is one wish you have for your classroom?
What is your favorite teacher appreciation item/event?
Additional Comments:

We were suprised to find out that all the teachers had been trying to get ceiling fans approved for the classrooms and the board turned down paying for them so the PTO is raising money for the project. The teachers are being extra supportive of our fundraisers since that announcement ;)

Just reaching out and caring to hear their imput seemed to make a big difference! Good luck!

Our PTO is new and trying to figure out where we could be most useful with our teachers. We have ideas that we would like to do like room parents, open houses, science fair, etc but don't want to intrude on how they already handle things (or force activities on them that we don't currently have). I would like to send out a survey and wonder if anyone already has done this. If so, do you still have a copy of the questions asked and did it go over well?

Thanks for all the help

What we think, or what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do.<br />
