I loved that one too! I think that we have to show families what exactly is being done with those fundraising dollars. I know that if we explain and they see, they may be more inclined in participating. I am also thinking of having one made for family donations too! Love it!! Love PTO Today.

Backing Tim on this one, I truly believe that parent groups need to be marketed. It could be as simple as having a huge sign in the lobby on a family fun night, putting pictures in the local paper, requesting sponsorship name when giving monetary/snack donations to a program, and so on and so on. The parent group should be a household name...add a logo to make the look more professional!

Ding. Ding. Ding -- we have a winner. Love it.

(And love the marketing/reputation acumen behind the concept of marking the books. PTOs don't toot their own horns enough. It's not about bragging; it's about reminding folks every chance we get what the fundraising is all about.)

This year we are holding a 2nd profit fair from Scholastic - and we are taking all of the profits and buying books for the school library.

I was thinking of having a stamp made to stamp inside of each book - showing the families the books that are donated by the PTO.

I am just stuck as to what to write. I dont want it too long - and lose the meaning.

Any ideas?
