That's right folks I'm bringing back this hot topic. Monday night (or tonight) my vice president is presenting her boy scout troop to the PTO as we are holding it's charter. No vote, no discussion, who cares...they will not need anythign from us, they have their own charter, in essence they just need a sponsor name on their peice of paper.
The school refused on the basis of getting terribly burned by a group that did thousands of dollars in damage to our faculity (they were playing basketball in the halls and knocked out two clocks and breached the security agreement by propping open doors that were to remain locked after 7:00 when their meeting started) and then refused to "make right" by their actions.
I know this is a differnet group with different parents but I feel like I'm beign forced into this.
Please, I have been to several Eagle scout ceremonies and and aware of the group, not crazy about some of their ways but aware.
I think right now I'm hoping this is a good move for us. ???????????????
