We are doing a Down on the Farm theme for our fall carnival and we are doing a game called "Feed the Pigs". We had an artistic parent paint a pig (you can use cardboard or plywood) and we cut out the mouth. The kids throw apple shape bean bags and try to get them into the pig's mouth. You can also use those foam apples (stress relievers). They work well also. Good Luck!

How about a trough full of corn(see if you have any farming parents who could loan you a trough and a couple bushels of shelled corn) then hide small prizes in the corn and let the kids dig for the prizes with their hands.

Serving food?

Don't forget to "pig out" on hot dogs or corn dogs and "haystack" fries.

Or, instead of a Sheriff, the Farmer can take the person back to the Pig Sty!

This is just an idea...You could have each classroom make up some kind of booth so to speak. For example say that one classroom decides to be the Depuity Sheriffs so they make a cardboard jail. Now by selling tickets to those in attendance, they can in return approach booths and (ex: Have a Depuity Sheriff go and arrest a family member and take them to the cardboard jail cell for a minute or so.

We are having our school carnival in November. We are looking for new ideas. Our theme is Pig Out At the Carnival because we are in the process of raising money for our AR program and the winner has to kiss a pig.
