We always have our board members meetings at a local deli. They remember us and are very generous with donations of food for teacher appreciation week

Mom of 5 - The only rule is the one written in your bylaws. If there's no mandate in them to meet at school then I think it's up to you to choose a reasonable location.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

I am new to all of this and we are considering having the agenda meetings off of school grounds. I have no problem with this since we are staying out of the already cramped quarters and have more resources available when we meet (internet, calendars, phones)than in the teachers area we currently are scheduled to use.
Is it written somewhere that PTO agenda meetings should be on school grounds? Does anyone else hold their agenda meetings off school grounds? We are thinking coffee house... any suggestions?
