when asked where past papers were filed, the answer came back: the trash.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!
Past conversations with the Principle indicate the 'awareness of issues' with these specific board memebers. Unfortunately, it sounds like everyone taking note of the situation is in a holding pattern until positions are up for re-election and the 'control team' is separated.

A previous president and vp actually told us that they had a bonfire and burned all the books and info for the year they were there. And they laughed like it was just a normal thing to do.

After going through the book and working with the vendors throughout the next year, we found money missing and all sorts of extras the vendors had sent that were missing, along with otheer things! Food left over from anything was taken home with them, paper products ended up sent home with them, etc. We even found out that gift cards that had been donated through sponsors were never accounted for, and these cards were for pretty large amounts.

Anyone that wuestioned them while they were in office was pretty much run off. They were bullies and never gave any information other than the bare necessities.

Ask questions and demand information ASAP.

oh and if your group reports to someone on staff at school, make sure they too are aware of the refusal to pass along the necessary transition info, maybe they can help you along, if 'control' issues are at play, or maybe they (ie the principal) can shed some light on whats goin on and why. you just never know. best not to assume anything, but ask quesitons instead and go from there.

Unfortunately some folks can only define their own successes through other peoples failures. The good news is your programs will probably be better without the hinderance of their input....good luck...d

You made me laugh ... 'control issues' ... that would be putting it lightly.
