oohh - oohh, can I come too?

The whole event sounds like fabulous fun.

Let us know how/if the event brings about new participation. I love the magnetic sticker with event dates for the fridge. I am going to pass that idea along.

Back to School/Parent Involvement Event was created by Treasurer Helen
Our PTO is hosting a pool party at our municipal pool for all students, teachers and staff in the evening after the first day of school ( our first day of school is on Friday August 25th). The students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The PTO made a financial arrangement with the pool board to cover the cost of life guards for the event and the rental fee was waived.

A local ambulance company is grilling hot dogs for the event free of charge.

The PTO will provide drink/hot dog ticket for each person attending.

The PTO will have a table at the door with information on the PTO's events (Last years accomplishments and the current year planned events). We will give each parent a magnetic sticker for the fridge with a listing of all dates for the current year PTO meetings.

We hope this event will generate interest in the PTO and to get new members and new ideas for the up and coming year.
