Well, I tried to paste our spiritwear order form on here, but it messed up all the spacing soooooo...

If anyone wants a copy post your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

It's not too difficult to make one: I used Word and just made typed a description of the item, put the sizes in a column with lines to put an X on next to the item you want. I also made a portion at the bottom to act as a receipt. I just used a paper cutter to cut almost completely through, then we just fill in the info and tear off. It would be quick to do in Excel too.

Is that something you can work with.

Our PTO usually gives the teachers a “Wish List” at our teacher breakfast. We have used the same paper for 5 years now. I would like ideas on how to change it up. The wish list says this now…….
When You Wish Upon A Star…
We have all heard the saying, “IF you tell someone what you wish for, then your wish will not come true”. Luckily, the 05/06 PTO board does not believe it!!! We want to know what your wishes are for your school and your area. Although we can’t make any promises, we are committed t doing our best to see that your wishes come true!!! Please return this list to the PTO. We appreciate your efforts and we want to make your wishes come true!

For t-shirt orders:

I used text boxes for our spirit items last year. At the other school where I was prez the principal did it for me, lickety split. She is really good at that computer stuff. One thing I forgot last year was to put XL on the list. I also cut and pasted the logo that was on the items on there.

This year we decided to go with the T-shirt people who are supposed to be sending pre-made order forms. Haven't seen them yet.

My biggest advice: Find a helper. I created a committee for this last year to help me sort forms and count money. No one showed. I had to bring it home with me and I was a nervous wreck all weekend.

As far as wish lists. Teachers put "optional supplies" on their supply list at the begining of the year and at the elementary levels if they need something they just put it on their newsletters. Do they expect parents to go out and buy these items on the wish list or is this something the PTO takes care of?
