My group takes July and August off but a whole lot of emailing still takes place. Like Serendipity says - for brainstorming, prep work, scheduling, etc.

When we meet over the summer it is only the Board members and not the whole general membership. We normally get together at one persons house and each of us brings something to eat/drink and we make a night of it. We will just brain storm and slate what we want to do or accomplish for the year and make sure everything that needs to be done or set up over the summer months is being handled by someone.
our last pto meeting is in may and we do not meet again untill school starts back up.but i have heard others onhere that they meet during the summer as well can you give me a little insight on that like why you meet during the summer to just wondering thought it was interesting
