Hi Dianna,

I just emailed you a little information. Just so everyone knows, I unfortunately don't have anything to send, so we could save the "me too's" this time....sorry :(

As a note about the "me too's" --- we should all post our email address so we could be contacted directly. Just put PTO Today as your message line. Just a thought.

Can you send me your Fall Fes stuff to the same address please--if you have anything I'd appreciate it or post here and I'll send to you!!! thanks Dianna

We do a fall festival and we hire a farmer bring all kinds of animals for the petting zoo (baby chicks - which the kids just love - goats, baby pigs, baby horse, etc) we have him also bring hay bales which our dads make a haunted hay maze, we have all different stations: tattoos, sandy candy, we have a small pumpkin patch which each child gets to pick a pumpkin to bring home (we also have the farmer bring cornstalks, wagon wheels etc. to decorate the pumpkin patch), cookies & juice station, we do find a pencil in the haystack (complete with a mom dressed up as a farmer with her pitchfork to build the stack each time)and when the child finds the pencil they keep it and get a prize, we did a guess how many jar with candy in it and later we announced the winner over the loudspeaker (this is cute with the little ones - they guess 2000 pieces when it was 380), we also supply them with a bag - usually from oriental trading to put all of their goodies in as they go through. One thing we will add this year is a table with baby wipes/purell to clean their hands after touching the animals. We do this every year, and now with not much money left for starting in Sept. we may have to pull it and try a spring carnival instead :(

We will see what happens, but this is what we do. Hope it helps....good luck :D

Hey all-those of you that do fall festivals. Can you tell me what type of events you do? We're thinking of doing this in October vice a Carnival in June....combining it with a Monster Mash Dance. Anyone do a Haunted Hall...? Your thoughts are appreciated...d
