We had a tradition on a "Christmas Wish" for the teachers and we would supply them with as much of the WISH list as we could at Christmas. It has not been done in a few years but we are doing to do it again starting next school year.

Just a suggestion to anyone who does this. Don't forget your administration and support staff. We call our's a Staff Wishlist. One of the secretaries in the office put folding tables on hers. We asked why, she told us someone from the ISD "borrowed" the extra ones and now they can't be found. During one of our events, magically 8 folding tables appeared in the staff lounge. Our secretary actually cried!

We did one our first year but that was five years ago and I don't have it at home! How about:
-Are there any areas of concern that you see as far as pto volunteering?
-What do you see as a priority that we should look at?
-What programs that we do that you like?
-If you had one wish for your classroom what would it be?
-Do you have any suggestions for events or programs?
- If you could change one thing about our group what would it be?

If we don't get samples, I guess our questions
will need to stem from what we want to know.

Some of the feedback our PTA wants to know is,

What do teachers LOVE that we already do?

What do they wish we would do more of?

What are some ideas they have that would make
the school a better place and enrich their
students lives?

To me, a survey is a tool to open up a dialogue.
The information you get back is only an indicator
of direction, not full answers.

I would also like to send out a parent survey.
Have you heard from anyone with a sample?
